  1. What initially led you to seek an off-grid solar solution with NewGrid Power?
    • Our neighbor had a great experience with New Grid and we wanted to replace our old lead-acid batteries with new lithium batteries. We had two sets of lead-acid batteries over a 15 year period.
  2. How was your experience with NewGrid Power during the consultation and installation process?
    • It was a good experience with New Grid from the very beginning. They answered all of our questions and the installation was professional and efficiently completed. They consulted with us over both the phone and in person to completely understand our household/solar needs. Our needs have evolved over time with old components deteriorating, and the new components are state-of-the-art with ten year warranties, something unheard of in the old lead-acid world.
  3. What benefits have you experienced since the installation of your off-grid solar system?
    • There has been less time and effort maintaining a new lithium system. There is an ease of use in regard to tracking on all the components of the solar system and over time a greater understanding of the entire system.
  4. Can you share a specific example of how the system has positively impacted your life or operations?
    • This might not seem like a lot to some people, but the fact that we don’t have to maintain that old lead-acid battery system has been enormous. We calculated that time spent checking the system and charting the results every evening, checking the batteries every month which includes: checking the water level, watering as necessary, and checking the specific gravity with a hydrometer every few months, checking all of the connections between all 24 batteries, wiping them clean and keeping them dry amounted to ~300 hours over a 15 year period! We have more time to play now! When you look at it in those terms alone, that’s a significant difference to us.  🥰
  5. Would you recommend NewGrid Power to others? If so, why?
    • Yes. Again, New Grid personnel have always been professional, knowledgeable and the quality of all of their installation processes have been excellent. In addition they have always been there to answer our most basic questions and readily available to us when we had an emergency. They understand the need for power 24/7.
