This immense, timber-framed, luxury log home is built on an expansive 160 acre homestead parcel in the Sierras. The property changed hands in 2021 falling under the stewardship of new owners eager to blend full-time living with the operation of their catering business. However, the existing power infrastructure proved insufficient for the demands of modern living and their commercial endeavors, particularly struggling to support intensive water pumping requirements that necessitated the reliance on a generator.
NewGrid was contacted in mid-2021 with the desire of new ownership to have a new power system designed and installed within 6 weeks. NewGrid rose to the challenge, engineering, deploying, and building the new power system ahead of schedule. The dawn of new ownership now sees them not only residing year-round in their exquisite abode but also realizing the fulfillment of their vision—a dual-purpose property harmoniously catering to both domestic tranquility and entrepreneurial aspirations.
