Project Details

Situated 40 miles beyond Globe, Arizona, the visionary behind this log cabin retreat aspired to create an off-grid haven for urbanites seeking a vacation and hunting escape. Originally constructed in the late 1990s, the property languished in neglect when the initial builder abandoned the project. In 2021, a fresh ownership consortium took the reins with a commitment to resurrect the original concept.

Envisioning a weekend and holiday getaway with the creature comforts of city living, the property necessitated a contemporary off-grid power power system design. The ownership group reached out to NewGrid in 2021, and within an impressive timeframe of under a month, our team designed, engineered, and seamlessly installed the new system. Since its inception, the off-grid system has consistently catered to a steady influx of hunters and vacationers, with minimal reliance on generators.
