The challenge
A tranquil retreat where the grid doesn't go.
Two wellness entrepreneurs began assembling parcels near Castle Hot Springs in 2022, planning a retreat campus built out one parcel at a time — with no utility service to any of it.
What we built
Designed, permitted, and built to expand.
NewGrid designed, engineered, permitted, and built the first facility's off-grid system, sized to expand: 20 kW of solar, 76 kWh of Pytes lithium storage, and a 15 kW Sol-Ark inverter.

The outcome
A retreat powered by the sun.
The center opened in June 2024 and hosts guests year-round. Systems for the neighboring parcels are in development, with construction planned from 2025.
