  1. What initially led you to seek an off-grid solar solution with NewGrid Power?
    •  After Many months of research and phone calls with possible contractors within our immediate region and the beyond, it became quite clear the scope of expertise between off-grid solar installation versus grid tied was quite different. All the companies we contacted and referrals were not qualified or would only touch our project with quotes well above market pricing to do so. Newgrid power was referred directly by a major west coast solar equipment suppliers sales rep after we began the prospect of contracting out the job ourselves. Newgrid stepped up for us from the very first query. 
  2. How was your experience with NewGrid Power during the consultation and installation process?
    • Our experience from the beginning was timely, understandable and customizable per the sales and technical teams advise and our various options, both in price points and overall project timing. The installation process and removal of our dated system was fairly seamless and not rushed. A team of three stayed on sight and had no plans of a quick departure until everything was up and running, explained in detail, and overly tested with the many scenarios we see now see annually. 
  3. What benefits have you experienced since the installation of your off-grid solar system?
    • Peace of mind, knowing our system is self sufficient and has remote support if and when needed. The ability to check the status of the entire system and its history from our own wifi access is pretty cool. Our propane generator for battery charging rarely runs now saving thousands of dollars annually. The tax benefits from the feds helped the overall costs significantly and was quite straight forward for our accountant to file the credits.
  4. Can you share a specific example of how the system has positively impacted your life or operations?
    • We operate a summer based lodge and wedding venue with an onsite catering kitchen, all run by the power of the sun and our lithium battery bank. This is a huge positive and has allowed us to operate without the crutch of non renewable propane power and the inefficient solar production we had before our NewGrid  system. 
  5. Would you recommend NewGrid Power to others? If so, why?
    • We have on multiple occasions recommended New Grid to our off the grid ranching neighbors and always take the time to show off and explain our current system.
